Amplified Authority’s 3X Challenge Scores Another Huge Success with Salt City Barbershop

The recent 3X Challenge winner – Salt City Barbershop – achieves incredible results in only 3 weeks putting another notch in the belt for Amplified Authority.

Salt Lake City, UT – The recent winner of Amplified Authority’s 3X challenge, Salt City Barbershop, achieved a rapid growth of more than 30% in their newest location in Millcreek, UT. This growth was achieved from working with Amplified Authority and Traffic Gnomes to improve the boutique barbershop’s standing in the local market and then implementing proven marketing strategies to send more people into the new location, effectively maxing out the volume the high-end barbershop was able to handle in only 3 weeks.

The 3X challenge was created by Vince Whinnery, the CEO of Amplified Authority (a PR firm) with the goal of helping small to medium sized businesses quickly increase their revenue by as much as three-fold (hence the 3X). This small PR firm, which was recently recognized as a top 3 PR firm for 2021, runs a free challenge multiple times per year where they help businesses implement a few effective strategies that quickly impact their bottom line. They often give away a “done for you” package to the one who gets the best results in the challenge. The most recent winner was Salt City Barbershop, owned by Rachel Bowman and Crystal Larsen.

This is not the first go around for Vince Whinnery, CEO of Amplified Authority. Having achieved similar results for more than 25 companies and 8 figures in revenue prior to his latest venture, he felt the path to achieve these results are straight forward and the challenge provides a way to give back and help business owners who wouldn’t usually become clients. It appears the recent winner was no exception to the string of successes Amplified Authority has been cranking out, helping Salt City Barbershop create a massive shift in profits in record time.

Most small businesses have been struggling over the past couple years with 22% not surviving the pandemic, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. Of those that remained, a few have seen a surge of growth (mostly in the construction and travel industries), while most small businesses struggle to return to pre-pandemic levels.

Mr. Whinnery stated, “The correct combination of publicity and marketing can create massive results for businesses no matter the size. It’s always great to see the expression on the owner’s face when they understand publicity is not just for large corporations. When applied strategically it can create a large impact for local businesses, brands and personalities.”

After the Amplified team implemented only a couple of their PR strategies for the barbershop clients started pouring into the Millcreek location fast. Rachel Bowman, co-owner of Salt City Barbershop had this to say about working with the Amplified team, “While the opening of our second location did well initially, we found it difficult to continue growing. My partner and I were thrilled that in a matter of weeks we added a large number of new clients and the results have been beyond our expectations!” Facebook ads had not yet had a chance to kick in when Salt City Barbershop reached maximum capacity, but is currently on track to generate a 15,000% return according to Rachel Bowman in the case study video.
