April Utility Garments Produces Modern Everyday Workwear

April Coffee Roastery launches April Utility Garments – quality workwear made to last a lifetime!

COPENHAGEN – May 21, 2020 – April Coffee Roastery has launched a workwear line for men who enjoy the outdoors and value quality. The company has unveiled their first collection and plans to release the next collection later this year.

In 2019, April founder Patrik Rolf was trying to develop workwear for his team at the coffee roastery, and he developed April Utility Garments. This clothing line features pieces which you can wear every day and will last you a lifetime. The creators draw inspiration for their clothes from the street corners and boulevards of the world they experience on their travels.

“Traditionally in the fashion world people create large collections,” Patrik says. “At April, we’re focusing on one single outfit to make that as good as we can. Each outfit that we produce is inspired by one of three characters – The Creator, The Craftsmen and the Rebels.”

April’s first collection is The Creator – clothes we use when we work and travel, made to be comfortable and durable with a modern look. The designers of this collection found their muse, Kaan Bergsen, in Istanbul – home to some of the most creative people in the world. As a model and entrepreneur, Kaan embodies everything The Creator stands for.

April partnered with Birrot – a Korean design studio based in Copenhagen – to develop this clothing line. Birrot’s technical skillset and understanding of fabrics combined with April’s aesthetic vision helped Patrik’s vision come to life. April produces their clothes in Birrot’s factories, helping them create quality garments transparently and ethically.

The team at April believes quality is a way of life and they strive to make it a part of everything they do. April Utility Garments pride themselves in creating quality clothing that is made to last. April’s designers actually wear the clothing they produce, and are committed to selling products which they truly believe in.
