Atlanta, GA – Atlanta based nonprofit IAMHOLDENON, INC. has announced plans to rebrand its name from IAMHOLDENON to HOPE GIVERS. Initially named after their award-winning film “Holden On”, HOPE GIVERS will expand its reach through their mission to create edutainment that helps transform mental health, equity, and well-being for all.
After the success of their award-winning film Holden On (100% Rotten Tomatoes approval rating; available on Amazon, iTunes, Best Buy, Vudu, Barnes & Noble), the nonprofit officially formed in late 2018. The inaugural program was the Hope Givers Music Festival that drew over 1,500 people at Sweetland Amphitheatre. The music festival promoted mental wellness though Grammy nominated musicians, speakers, wellness activities, and advocacy. Bands included Judah & the Lion, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, The War and Treaty. 2020 began a partnership with Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) and the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) to produce a new uplifting documentary series highlighting hope and resilience across America. The series will be distributed in 2021 by GPB and will be available nationwide on PBS LearningMedia.
Tamlin Hall, Founder and CEO, states “With our vision to save lives through arts, science, and advocacy, HOPE GIVERS will uphold our values of Humanity, Opportunity, Prevention, and Equity. Humanity wins here.” Hall has been honored in the Georgia General Assembly for his work in Advocacy and Arts. He was recently selected to represent the United States through the US Department of State & IREX Mandela Washington Fellowship Reciprocal Exchange Program.
