East-West University Announces Si Se Puede Scholarship to Uplift Hispanic Communities

Chicago, Illinois – Feb 22, 2021 – East-West University has recently announced a scholarship under the title, Si Se Puede to uplift the Hispanic communities in the Chicago area. The scholarship program will provide a full supplemental scholarship award in any of the available East-West University’s Undergraduate degree programs for qualified students.

This scholarship will be awarded exclusively to the merited and talented students from the selected areas. The educational award will provide an extra edge needed by some students to successfully get themselves enroll into different Undergraduate programs offered by the prestigious University.

The Si Se Puede Scholarship is intended to contribute to the academic development of the entire Hispanic communities in the Chicago area by supporting students from a low-income background to successfully attain their academic goals. East-West University has a history of positive impact on diverse communities and has in the past, created programs for high schools in the area with high low-income family ratios. The university’s strong commitment to diversity is highlighted in the recent appointment of the institution’s first female Hispanic Director Claudia Macias-Silverman.
