Fin.do unveils instant money transfer feature, enabling easy card-to-card payments.
VILNIUS – Mar 30, 2020 – International money transfer app Fin.do has announced that Fin.do users can now transfer money using the 16 digits of the recipient’s card. Users can send any currency, regardless of whether the recipient is a Fin.do user or not.
Many people, including expatriates, freelancers and students rely on international money transfer services to receive funds. Fin.do aims to transform the card-to-card money transfer industry by enabling seamless, low-cost and real-time transfers. The new service is available to users in the MasterCard network.
“In the past, people had to provide their complete bank details to receive international transfers,” said Fin.do CEO and Founder, Zhana Dar. “Today’s high-security standards enable us to use the 16 digits of the recipient’s card to make instant money transactions. We are happy to provide this new feature to our customers, understanding how crucial quick money transfers can be at times. Nothing should stand in the way of our users supporting their family and friends.”
This new service eliminates the tedious and time-consuming transfers found in banks and the hidden fees found in other money transfer apps. Fin.do users can complete transfers in a few taps and the company is fully transparent about fees.
The money transfer app also reduces costs by removing double currency conversions and high bank fees. Transfers via the Fin.do app are especially cost-effective on lower-value transactions. Whereas transfers of €500 or less often cost users up to 10% of the transfer amount, with Fin.do this percentage is significantly lower.
With this new feature and lower transaction costs, Fin.do aims to make money transfers ubiquitous and to empower people to benefit from the most recent financial innovations.
Created in 2017 by Lithuanian-based software company UAB Findo Finansai, Fin.do enables instant international transfers to 50+ countries and in 180 currencies. The app is available on iOS and Android devices for users in the MasterCard network. Fin.do plans to expand into the Visa network and scale further in the CIS, EU and USA markets.
