Former Governor Mary Fallin-Christensen and Construction Executive Xavier Neira join EMBLEM Strategies as Strategic Advisors

EMBLEM Strategies, LLC is excited to announce the addition of Former Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin-Christensen and long-time construction industry executive Xavier Neira as strategic advisors to its team of professionals.  The unique talents, experiences and input brought by Governor Fallin and Mr. Neira allows EMBLEM to further expand its capacity to offer a comprehensive suite of business services and project management for its clients.

“Having strategic advisors of this caliber allows us to strengthen the services we offer to our clients. Mary’s unique talents with site selection and collaboration at the highest levels of government were proven during her years of exemplary public service,” said EMBLEM Principal Cornell Wesley.  “Adding Xavier brings years of experience with construction and project management as well as extensive business development”

“Throughout my career in public service, I’ve always worked hard to put Oklahoma on the map as one of the top states in the nation for job creation and business expansion,” said Fallin-Christensen. “Partnering with EMBLEM will provide me with exciting opportunities to continue pursuing my passion to assist communities across Oklahoma in moving themselves to the forefront of business and industry expansion opportunities.”

While serving as Oklahoma’s governor, Fallin-Christensen was able to diversify the economy through the addition and expansion of a broad range of industries. Among her many accomplishments were Boeing bringing numerous jobs to Oklahoma, Google investing $600 million into Oklahoma’s economy, Amazon adding two large distribution centers, and International Paper restarting its idled operation with a $90 million investment.

With a current portfolio of $120 million of active projects in Oklahoma and Texas, Mr. Neira, in his previous role, was responsible for over $1.2 billion dollars of new construction in the Government, Native American, Healthcare and Commercial Construction sectors of the market. Active in politics and public service at the state and federal levels for a number of years, Xavier has worked as a volunteer and Spanish Language Media Surrogate for several national campaigns, served on Hispanic Advisory boards for U.S. presidents, governors and federal and state legislators as well as a number of other boards and commissions.

“Oklahoma is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the policies enacted over the past several years to make our great state an attractive destination for new and expanding business opportunities,” said Neira. “As someone who believes in the power of economic development and giving back to the community, I’m excited to partner with EMBLEM to put my background and expertise to work in helping communities and businesses reach their potential, particularly those in underserved areas of our state.”

“Focusing on the company’s mission of providing a comprehensive suite of business services and project management under one umbrella allows us to best serve our clients,” said Wesley. “Recognizing the importance of a diverse team, both in skill set and that represents the demographics of our state, Xavier and Mary help us fulfill this vital aspect of our core mission. We can now offer a slate of services that are second to none, and allow us to all give back as we move forward.”
