Rapidly growing, Empiric Health promotes Alycia Parker and Rick Tillar to Chief Revenue Officers

SALT LAKE CITY – November 12, 2020 – Empiric Health, a fast-growing innovator in AI-powered clinical analytics focused on reducing unwarranted clinical variation announced that Alycia Parker and Rick Tillar have been named Chief Revenue Officers. Ms. Parker previously served as Vice President, Client Success and Marketing and Mr. Tillar previously served as Vice President, Business Development. Together, Ms. Parker and Mr. Tillar will be responsible for revenue growth, business development, go-to-market strategy, and marketing.

The move is a mark of accelerated growth expected for the company going into 2021 and beyond. Health systems and hospitals around the country are mobilizing efforts to regain financial traction and continue the move towards value-based care following the impact of COVID-19. In contrast to other data analytics companies, the core of Empiric’s method is clinically-driven – using AI, machine learning, and natural language processing to produce apples to apples data comparisons that surgeons can trust and optimize. Now, in over 100 hospitals, 8 health systems, and a database of over 2 million surgeries, Empiric is building a collaborative of best practices that can be shared and used to deliver quick results at new partner sites.

“This is an important step in Empiric’s growth and maturity as a company,” said Rick Adam, CEO of Empiric Health.  “The pandemic has shaped a new path for healthcare providers. Empiric’s offering compliments efforts to improve margin and re-think care delivery, especially in surgery, in the new normal. Alycia and Rick have shown tremendous capability and proven to be the right individuals to take Empiric to the next level in health systems and hospitals around the country.”
