Austin dates and locations announced for “The Art of PMO” workshop sessions facilitated by Rich Butkevic, PMP, CSM

Rich Butkevic, PMP, CSM, who facilitates “The Art of PMO” workshops, has announced upcoming Austin dates and locations for the remainder of 2019. 

The three hour workshops, which take place in major cities across Texas, guide participants through strategies to establish or improve a Project Management Office (PMO) with their organization. Topics discusses will include current state assessment, analysis and quantification of the “Return on Process” for potential areas of focus, implementation and controlling of the changes, recommended tools, and more.  

Rich Butkevic states: “I developed The Art of PMO workshop to help those who play a role in developing and improving a organizational Project Management Office recognize that instituting processes also needs to take place within their own larger process or framework.  Through my years as a Project Management Consultant, I’ve found that almost every resource available focuses on identifying what the ultimate end result should be… what does the BEST project plan look like, what type of reporting should management IDEALLY have at their fingertips, what is the MOST PRECISE way to project resource capacity in the future, etc. The problem is that very few organizations are in a state where they can move directly from where they are currently to the ideal end state, and attempting to do so not only doesn’t work, it actually make matters far worse.  It isn’t a matter of WHAT would be best, it’s a matter of HOW to get there – and that is what The Art of PMO can help with.”
