Former Uber and Cannondale Leaders Join Coaster Cycles as VP’s

New Hires Part of Coaster’s Manufacturing Expansion and National Growth Efforts:

• Schatz as VP of Sales and Solutions
• Perchy as VP of Engineering & Manufacturing

Missoula, MT – Coaster Cycles, an eco-friendly mobility products company, is pleased to announce two new hires today: Brian Schatz as VP of Sales and Solutions, and Jere Perchy as VP of Engineering & Manufacturing.

Schatz first started working with the Coaster team in the early stages of the company while he was a student at Northeastern University in Boston.  Since graduating from school, his career has led him through multinational leadership roles at both Apple and Uber throughout the United States, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Recently repatriating back to the US, Brian rejoined the team to lead the effort in growing and expanding the customer base across the many industries Coaster Cycles caters to.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Coaster team to grow and expand our reach into the many industries we service, said Schatz.  “I worked alongside Ben (Ben Morris, Coaster CEO) and Justin (Justin Bruce, Coaster COO) a decade ago in Boston and it’s truly impressive how well-positioned we are to influence mobility and three-wheeled solutions to cities and companies all over.”

Perchy joins the team as VP of Engineering & Manufacturing.  Previously at Cannondale, Perchy helped increase Cannondale’s manufacturing capacity from 38,000 to 220,000 bicycles annually.   As Vice President of Operations at DeltaGlide, he developed the technology and scaled the company, later acquired by Johnson & Johnson.  Most recently, Perchy served as Operations Manager for Applied Materials, a multi-national corporation.

With a mission to inspire communities and brands to move, connect, and deliver with the world around them, Coaster manufactures eco-friendly mobility products that provide transportation, delivery, and branding services for a range of clients including Fortune 500s, governments, universities, events, and resorts. Proudly made in the USA, Coaster operates a 23,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Missoula, MT.  The company also operates fleets in Boston, and San Francisco.
