Spiral Light Candles Bringing their One of a Kind Light to these Dark Times

Spiral Light Candles launches a Kickstarter campaign to fund their unique candle!

LAKELAND, MN – April 6, 2020 – Spiral Light Candles, the first major innovation in candles since the jar candles of the 1960’s, is doing its part to remind us of the simple joys and pleasures in life. Spiral Light Candles burn like no other. Their unique, patented, two-in-one design has taken the candle world by storm and has left this small, family-owned business struggling to keep up with demand. “Candles are used to make a room feel comfortable and cozy, but we wanted to expand on this and create a long-lasting clean burning candle that has a fun design, great scents and soothing crackling wood wicks,” said Tammi Nelson, co-owner of Spiral Light.

Spiral Light started with the idea that you could create a candle without the wasted wax left over from burning traditional candles. The idea is simple, why not move the wick from the center of the candle out to the outer edge. Now you’re burning the side of the candle that normally ends up in the garbage. As the candle burns, the sides flow into the middle leaving you with a cozy, wood wick candle at the end. “Everyone loves candles; everyone loves fun and unique gifts; put the two together and you’ve really got a candle that is sure to make anyone smile!”

According to the National Candle Association, U.S. retail sales of candle products are estimated at approximately $3.14 billion annually. Started in their garage back in 2017 by husband and wife team Todd and Tammi Nelson, their candle business has expanded faster than they could ever have imagined. This left them with no choice but to seek out a new larger facility to manufacture their unique candles. In an effort to jumpstart their new factory in this difficult economic environment, Spiral Light Candles has launched a Kickstarter Campaign. Backers can help fund the new facility in exchange for numerous rewards including limited-time savings on all their candles. Funds raised will be used to build out the new facility and manufacture new custom equipment and hire additional staff to increase production to meet the ever-increasing demand.
