Texas Hold’em Poker Night Comes to Monmouth Park Race Track~March 30

Don’t miss this fun event at a great venue! Funds raised will support STEAMpark and its mission to bring STEAM programs–Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math— to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade in underserved local communities. STEAMpark’s 3rd Annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament will take place at Monmouth Park Race Track on Thursday, March 30, from 6 to 11 PM.

Early intervention for educational opportunities is crucial and the success of STEAMpark’s programs relies heavily on local donations. The popular poker night is a fun way to raise both awareness and funds. This is the third year for the tournament, and enthusiasm grows every year. Whether you are a poker player or would simply enjoy some light fare and watching people play, the night will be an entertaining one. It is also a chance to check out the unique Monmouth Park Race Track venue. And, the price is right! It is $100 to play in the tournament, and $50 to come as a spectator. (Prizes of $4000, $1500, and $500 are awarded in the form of VISA gift cards.) If you are unable to attend, a donation of any size is truly appreciated. No amount is too small and all donations will help fill the gaps of achievement and care. Your donation will help support after-school enrichment programs, summer camps, and on-line learning. The programs are structured to adapt to the children’s needs and extend beyond academics. Together with community partners, STEAMpark also helps children with social interactions, emotional support, and provides healthy food and items of need.

Be a part of the solution! Join STEAMpark for a very different and exciting night. More information and ways to register/ donate are available at www.steampark.org.
