VIP America Announces National Recruiting Drive To Match Growing Demand From Covid-19

STUART, Florida – April 16, 2020 – The rising demand for caregivers who provide much needed care for seniors and others severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted VIP America, a licensed nurse registry in Florida,  to mount a major national recruiting drive to  bring more qualified caregivers to Stuart and the regions served throughout southeast, central and southwestern Florida. VIP America is hopeful that many of the hard-working restaurant and hospitality industry workers who are now out of a job may have the skills to become caregivers.

“We know that there may be hundreds if not thousands of unemployed who have the skills needed to care for seniors and others who wish to remain in their homes during this crisis rather than be confined in a nursing home,” said Jill Ball, president, VIP America. “We want to help keep people in their homes where they have a much improved chance of recovering from the pandemic by receiving individualized care and, in many cases, companionship from caregivers who also maintain communications with the patient’s family and loved one,” added Ball.

While priority will be given to candidates who have a level of certification, VIP America also recognizes the client’s needs for caregivers who display a positive attitude, skills level, and dedication to caring to meet client’s selection criteria for picking a qualified caregiver.

“We are also monitoring Federal, State and local funding that may become available to assist those who have lost their jobs to fund training required to become qualified caregivers,” concluded Ball.
