Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts looking for t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, and stickers to show their support for the LGBTQ community all year round.
Chicago, Illinois – July 18, 2020 – RPG Pride is an online company borne out of the frustration owner and creator, Tim McInturff, experienced while searching for a t-shirt that combined his love for Dungeons and Dragons and imagery of the PRIDE flag. He recalls, “…despite looking for over 2 months, I could not find any shirts that matched the aesthetic that I was looking for.”
When Tim’s daughter asked him to attend the PRIDE festival with her, he promptly accepted. “I did promise that I would go to my local PRIDE and talk to her at the same time via FaceTime and text messages. This way, we can still share this important moment together, even when we were apart in different cities”’ he asserted. His daughter loved playing Dungeons and Dragons and had been a dungeon master; and, as an avid player himself, Tim explained, “I decided that I would pick a pair of matching shirts for us that incorporated Dungeons and Dragons along with imagery of PRIDE flags to wear to my first PRIDE festival.” However, shirts along those lines were only available during June, PRIDE month, and he wanted to “…be able to buy it whenever I had the money for it”, added Tim; and not just during the month.
As a precursor to the official launch, RPG Pride is doing t-shirt giveaways to their Instagram followers. Their T-shirts retail for $22.99 up, tote bags $19.99, and stickers $7.99. The company has received very positive reviews for the merchandise posted on its RPG Pride online store. By encouraging wearers to ‘Be The Everyday Dragon!’ and ‘Be Your Own Everyday Dragon’ to name just a few, Tim McInturff hopes to provide parents and loved ones of LBGTQ+ with subtle ways to show their love and support for PRIDE, while spreading awareness.
